Job summary

Books-A-Million in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a friendly Bookseller to provide exceptional customer service, greet customers, answer questions, and assist with purchases at the register. You will help stock shelves, promote membership programs, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities include efficient cashiering, merchandising tasks, inventory support, and adherence to loss prevention standards. Prior retail experience is a plus, and candidates must be 16 or older.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older
• Successful completion of all required background screenings

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions and orders, including efficient cashiering.
• Sell products and promote POS programs such as Membership, Educator programs, and other company-sponsored initiatives.
• Balance cash drawer at end of each shift per Loss Prevention Policy.
• Deliver and stock products on the sales floor per merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain the sales floor through housekeeping duties and inventory support.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards and act with integrity in all transactions.
