Books A Million in Wilmington, NC is seeking a friendly Bookseller to deliver exceptional customer service. You will greet customers, answer questions, and assist with orders while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include ringing up sales, promoting memberships and programs, stocking shelves, merchandising, and performing basic cashiering tasks. Candidates should be reliable, good communicators, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions and orders, including cashiering.
• Promote Membership programs and other company-sponsored programs.
• Balance cash drawer following each shift.
• Deliver and place products on the sales floor per merchandising guidelines.
• Recover the sales floor during shifts; stock shelves and maintain cleanliness.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards and protect company assets.
• Assist in other departments and tasks as assigned, including receiving shipments.
