Job summary

2nd & Charles in Baton Rouge is seeking a customer-focused associate to assist guests with questions, process purchases, and maintain attractive sales floors. You will help shoppers find products, support store programs, and uphold merchandising standards.

The role emphasizes friendly service, knowledge of books and merchandise, and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with the highest level of customer service by greeting each customer, communicating and assisting customers with questions and orders, and efficient cashiering.
• Sales of all products, offer point of sale initiatives including Magazine program, Text 2 Mobile Program, Educator programs, and other company-sponsored programs.
• Delivers and places product on the sales floor in accordance with merchandising guidelines and timelines.
• Recovers the sales floor during each shift, including resetting displays, shelving books and product, and store housekeeping.
