Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to deliver accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and client service. You’ll post transactions, reconcile accounts, generate statements, and prepare tax documents as part of a supportive franchise team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s and calculate and prepare tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, client suppliers, vendors and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and client growth opportunities.
