Elite Construction Company in Valdosta, GA is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager for a full-time, in-person role. You will manage bookkeeping tasks and support day-to-day office operations.

A well-established local company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join its team. This is a full-time, in-person position for an experienced professional who can confidently manage bookkeeping responsibilities while supporting day-to-day office operations.
PAY: $18.00-$21.00/hour, depending on experience
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
WORK LOCATION: In person
QuickBooks Online experience is REQUIRED. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and general bookkeeping
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
• Process payroll and assist with quarterly tax preparation
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and records
• Work in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
• Maintain organized digital files and accounting documentation
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors, utilities, employees, and visitors
• Order office supplies and coordinate maintenance or repairs
• Manage phone calls, correspondence, mail, scheduling, and document preparation
• Assist leadership with travel arrangements, onboarding, office policies, and special projects
• Support inventory control and general office administration
Required Qualifications:
• Previous Full-Charge Bookkeeper experience
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop
• Experience with A/P, A/R, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a drug test
Preferred:
• Associate degree
• 1-2 years of office management or administrative experience
• Public accounting experience
• Inventory control experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/carry at least 25 lbs., push/pull carts or equipment, stand and walk throughout the day including stairs, reach overhead and below shoulder level, and perform regular keyboarding and fine hand manipulation.
