Job summary

Lars Remodeling & Design is seeking a Bookkeeper in San Diego to manage vendor and trade partner transactions, support accounts payable and receivable, and assist with project and retail accounting. The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping and contributing to cash flow management.

Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain reliable financial reporting. This in-person position requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred in Accounting/Finance.
• Bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
• Construction, remodeling, retail, appliance, showroom, product, or project-based accounting experience preferred.
• AP, AR, and reconciliation experience strongly preferred; multi-entity experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor and trade partner transactions with accuracy.
• Support accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
• Assist with project and retail accounting and maintain cash flow data.
• Collaborate with Accounting Manager, controllers, project managers, and other departments to ensure accurate financial information.
• Investigate discrepancies and communicate improvements to processes.
