Job summary

Confidential, a residential remodeling company, seeks a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage daily financial operations and keep books accurate for ongoing projects.

You will work closely with the production team and management, handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cost reporting, and tax compliance using QuickBooks Desktop and Excel. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years bookkeeping experience required.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel.
• Experience in construction/home remodeling industry preferred.
• Strong data entry, reporting, and cost-tracking abilities.
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Audit vendor bills and enter them into QuickBooks for timely payments.
• Process weekly payroll via third-party platform and log hours in QuickBooks.
• Enter customer invoices into QuickBooks or sync with CRM.
• Process weekly cash deposits and apply against invoices in QuickBooks.
• Run job cost reports to track profitability at project completion.
• Generate monthly Sales and Leads reports from the CRM.
• Track marketing costs against leads and sales to calculate cost per lead.
• Prepare monthly Sales & Use Tax returns.
• Provide professional phone support for clients, vendors, and team.
• Complete other financial and admin projects as assigned.
