Job summary

SGD Communications Inc. is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team in Tampa, FL. You will record and verify transactions, bring the books to the trial balance stage, and assist with tax forms.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and understands best practices in accounting. You will maintain accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements and GL accounts, process invoices and payments, monitor cash flow, and support month-end close.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliation.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
• Process invoices, payments, collections and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Assist with related recordkeeping.
• Monitor cash flow and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
