Job summary

Quartz South Group, a financial services firm based in San Antonio, TX, is hiring a Bookkeeper for a full‑time role. You will manage financial records, ensure accuracy, and reconcile accounts to maintain integrity.

You’ll process transactions, prepare financial statements and reports, assist with budgeting, and support the finance team to optimize resources. Minimum 2 years’ bookkeeping experience and QuickBooks proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience in financial services or accounting firms.
• Proficient in accounting software, especially QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Process and reconcile bank and credit card transactions with timely posting to the general ledger.
• Assist in payroll calculations, deductions, and net pay.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to file federal, state, and local tax returns.
