Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a financial services firm.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Process and post daily, weekly, and monthly transactions, including payroll and accounts payable.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial data for reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
