Kore Advisors LP in Florida is seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper to join its accounting team. The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping across a group of related entities, including bill pay, recordkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience; multi-entity exposure preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process bills and payments with proper documentation and approvals.
• Record transactions and maintain books in QuickBooks for multiple entities.
• Prepare bank, credit card, and brokerage reconciliations and resolve open items.
• Track capital contributions, distributions, intercompany transfers, and loans.
• Maintain organized supporting files for transactions, vendors, and obligations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close including accruals and schedules.
• Prepare budget vs. actual, cash, and expense reports and flag variances.
• Coordinate with outside tax preparers and auditors (W-9s and 1099s).
• Communicate with vendors, banks, and service providers to resolve questions.
• Support the accounting team on ad hoc projects and AI-enabled workflow tools.
