Spoon And Stable in Minneapolis is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our Director of Accounting across a growing hospitality group that includes four restaurants and a professional sports catering company.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate books, processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and assisting with audits. This in-office position offers a flexible schedule within a Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm window.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Comfortable handling confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
• Bill.com experience preferred.
• Hospitality or restaurant operations experience is a plus.

James Beard Award-winning Chef Gavin Kaysen is seeking a detail-oriented, organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our Director of Accounting across a growing hospitality group that includes four restaurants and a professional sports catering company. This is an important role in keeping the business organized, the books accurate, and operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Process, reconcile, and enter invoices and credit card purchases
• Review and reconcile vendor statements
• Review daily and weekly sales entries
• Communicate with vendors by phone and email
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
• Assist with audits, fact-checking, and resolving discrepancies
• Support the Director of Accounting with other accounting needs as they arise

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills

Schedule & Compensation

• 25-35 hours per week
• Flexibility to set your schedule Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm
• In-office position in the North Loop
• $20-$22/hour, depending on experience
