The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Accounting Assistant to support accounts payable, invoicing, and fund transfers. You will post bills in QuickBooks, prepare transfer spreadsheets, and ensure timely reimbursements under contract terms.
Ideal candidates have QuickBooks experience, strong Excel and Outlook skills, an associate degree in accounting or bookkeeping or 5+ years in the field, and the ability to manage priorities and deadlines with accuracy.
Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt (24-32 Hours/Week)

Candidate is organized and detail oriented with a professional attitude and an ability to prioritize daily work. QuickBooks experience required as well as strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. Associate’s degree in accounting or bookkeeping or 5+ years of experience. Must be able to handle various responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues. Strong Excel and Outlook skills.
Compensation
The Cultural Council offers a competitive compensation package with benefits. The hourly rate for this position is $23-27 per hour, depending on qualifications.
