Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain trained and competent supervisors and associates tied to customer objectives.
• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable.
• Interview hourly associates and provide hire recommendations.
• Monitor attendance and productivity; provide coaching as needed.
• Motivate and engage teams through recognition of accomplishments.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight handling, dispatch, and documentation.
• Evaluate and improve dispatch methods; assist in training new associates.
• Provide coverage for operational duties during time off.
• Ensure site operating systems are used correctly and compliance is maintained.
• Complete records and reports accurately and timely.
• Understand profitability and monitor overtime to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure safety procedures align with location strategy and regulatory requirements.
