Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to act as the primary contact for medical professionals, delivering clinical knowledge and navigating payer environments. The role focuses on executing marketing strategy, promoting Amgen products, and achieving sales targets within assigned territories.

Qualified candidates may have a Bachelor's or equivalent, with 3–4+ years in sales or clinical healthcare experience, and will benefit from a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree with sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with sales experience.
• Clinical experience in healthcare or scientific field is preferred.
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, or healthcare domains is advantageous.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with a sales focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages and programs.
• Develop relationships to manage accounts and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn.
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold the Amgen brand.
