Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative in the United States. The role connects with medical professionals, promotes Amgen products, and navigates complex payer environments.

You will implement marketing strategy and drive territory sales with both in-person and virtual engagement. Preferred candidates have life sciences or business backgrounds, strong relationship-building skills, and local market knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's degree with 4 years of sales experience
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of sales experience
• Senior role requires Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of sales/clinical experience or equivalent
• 3+ years of sales/clinical experience required for Senior Specialty Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals
• Promote products and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct planned programs to meet or exceed targets
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including contract discussions and reimbursement issues
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen brand
