Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate payer environments while meeting territory sales goals. You will implement marketing strategies, build customer relationships, and contribute to cross-functional collaboration with the District Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior Specialty Representative requires 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device or medical supply industries

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct planned programs to achieve sales targets
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including discussions tailored to customer needs and ensuring product access
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative
• Demonstrate passion for products and maintain brand focus throughout the sales cycle
• Uphold Amgen Values in all dealings
