Job summary

DFM Development Services, LLC is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to support Bond & Permit Release activities in Reston, Virginia. The role involves site visits, coordination with County personnel, and managing bond documentation to state jurisdictions.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in construction or real estate development, and be proficient with standard office software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, homebuilding or real estate development industries.
• Strong communicator with solid organizational skills.
• Permit application and processing knowledge preferred.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
• Ability to read construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Site visits to document the project status.
• Meetings with County personnel.
• Manage and communicate with utility companies.
• Observe construction activities in the field.
• Prepare and deliver bond documents to County and State jurisdictions.
• Utilize computer software to organize project documents.
• Generate digital copies of punch lists and associated plans for clients.
• Support Bond Management Director and Senior Project Managers.
• Review construction plans and plats.
