Job summary
DFM Development Services in Reston, Virginia, seeks a full-time Project Coordinator for Bond & Permit Release to support the bond release process across county and state jurisdictions. The role requires field visits, meetings with county personnel, and close coordination with utility companies, ensuring timely documentation and communication.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in construction or real estate development, strong communication and organization, and familiarity with permit
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, homebuilding or real estate development industries.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Permit application and processing knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with reading construction plans.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
Responsibilities
- Site visits to document the project status.
- Meetings with County personnel.
- Manage and communicate with utility companies.
- Observe construction activities in the field.
- Prepare and deliver bond documents to County and State jurisdictions.
- Utilize office software to organize project documents.
- Generate digital copies of punch lists and associated plans for clients.
- Support Bond Management Director and Senior Project Managers.
- Review construction plans and plats.
