Job summary

Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (Ruskin) is seeking a detail-oriented Material Planner to support engineering and manufacturing operations.

You will interpret engineering drawings, create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), and ensure accurate material planning within the MRP system. The ideal candidate has at least two years of drafting or shop floor experience, proficiency with Excel and Word, and familiarity with Autodesk software.

Qualifications

• Interpret engineering drawings and manage BOMs.
• Read and interpret technical documents and specs.
• Accurately maintain BOMs for non-configured products.
• Ensure data integrity in the MRP system.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to create and maintain BOMs.
• Assign MRP part numbers based on drawings.
• Enter BOM into the MRP system or coordinate with engineering.
• Generate manual cut lists for shop floor when required.
• Provide feedback on design inconsistencies or improvements.
• Maintain documentation in Excel and Word.
• Support continuous improvement in material planning.
