Job summary

Wildlife Acoustics, Inc. is seeking a Materials Requirements Planner (MRP) & Buyer to coordinate between engineering, contract manufacturing, and supply. Build and maintain BOMs, analyze schedules for risk, and monitor safety stock to keep parts flowing from prototypes to production.

You will own BOM accuracy, run MRP against schedules, and manage purchase orders while coordinating with suppliers and CM partners. This is an on-site Maynard role with a strong emphasis on cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BOM management, materials planning (MRP), or purchasing in hardware/electronics/manufacturing.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (e.g., NetSuite, Odoo, Fishbowl).
• Familiar with ECO/ECN flows affecting BOMs and purchasing.
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and comfort with demand data and lead times.
• Excellent organization; able to manage multiple parts and suppliers concurrently.
• Adaptable in a small-company environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and version BOMs with engineering and contract manufacturers.
• Track ECO/ECN changes and update BOMs, costs, and purchase orders.
• Maintain BOM accuracy across prototype to production; flag discrepancies.
• Maintain part numbers, AML/AVL, and item master data.
