Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a BOM Manager in Indiana to oversee the full lifecycle of product structural data. You will bridge engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing, ensuring data integrity and guiding ECOs to optimize manufacturing efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain, 5+ years in BOM management, and hands-on ERP/MRP experience (Epicor 2024.2) and PLM software. Collaboration across teams will drive cost control and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain required.
• 5+ years in BOM management, engineering documentation, or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor 2024.2 a strong plus) and PLM software.

Responsibilities

• BOM Lifecycle Management: Build and maintain BOMs for new and existing products.
• Part Creation & System Maintenance: Load and manage component parts in ERP/PLM systems.
• Engineering Change Management: Implement ECOs and revisions to ensure BOM accuracy.
• Data Integrity: Oversee BOM data in ERP to maintain cross-department consistency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve discrepancies and substitute parts.
• Cost & Inventory Control: Support cost calculations and Excess/Obsolete inventory processes.
