Fontana is seeking a Boltmaker Operator to set up and run boltmaking machines, ensuring daily production and quality goals are met. You will use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify parts meet specifications and follow a BOM to identify proper tooling sequences.
Training lasts 6 months, with 1st shift for up to 6 months before switching to 2nd shift. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful; progressive presses experience is a plus, but not required.

A machine operator is responsible for setting up a variety of products on several different size and types of boltmaker machines to manufacture fasteners. Accountable for safely meeting daily production goals, quality requirements, and performing preventative maintenance.
High school diploma or GED, a plus, but not required.
Successfully complete a 6-month training process (train on 1st shift for up to 6 months, then switch to 2nd shift).
Experience with operating progressive presses a plus, but not required.
Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment helpful.
Must be able to lift and/or maneuver up to 50+ pounds.
Ability to stand for 8+ hours and endure frequent climbing, twisting, and turning.
Must be flexible to work OT, as needed.
Non-climate controlled work environment.
