Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate single or multiple cold header machines to produce quality parts.
• Plan and perform close tolerance setups with minimal assistance.
• Use scales, microscopes, micrometers, calipers and fixed gages to inspect work.
• Load and unload product using a forklift.
• Read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions.
• Start machines, monitor operation and inspect first-run pieces for conformance.
• Change tooling at changeovers and adjust as needed.

Bolt Forming Operator

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate single and/or multiple cold header machines to produce quality product of any complexity.
• Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance.
• Use scales, microscopes, micrometers, calipers and fixed gages to check and gage work.
• Load and unload product in the process using a forklift
• Must be able to read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions
• Starts machine, observes operation, inspect first run and sample work pieces to ensure part conforms to specifications.
• Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments.
