Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service, Inc. is seeking a Boilermaker in San Antonio, TX to travel to customer sites and assemble boilers, tanks, vats, and pressure vessels per blueprints.

The role requires reading blueprints, using power and hand tools, and performing piping layouts with safety as a priority. Responsibilities include installing and repairing piping, insulating, threading pipe, and assembling boiler components.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprint to determine location and relationship of parts.
• Works with power and hand tools to assemble boilers, tanks, vessels and piping.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assembles boilers, tanks, vats, and pressure vessels per blueprint specifications.
• Connects fire tubes to heads or water tubes to drums using tube expander and beading ends.
• Drills and taps holes for installation of studs; tightens bolts to assemble frames.
