Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Able to read and understand shop orders, instructions, and production docs.
• Able to safely operate air, power, and hand tools.
• Able to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Able to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Able to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Complete background checks and pre-employment testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop orders, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Operate air tools, power tools, and standard hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Assemble boiler components and related equipment according to specifications and quality requirements.
• Ensure components are properly installed and finished to meet appearance, fit, and function requirements.
• Assist with training and mentoring employees within assigned departments as needed.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve workplace safety and reduce injuries or hazards.
• Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production goals and schedules.
• Complete operations within established quality standards and production times.
• Inspect work and identify defects or issues requiring correction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following company standards.
