Job summary

Constellation Energy is hiring a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain eight Cleaver-Brooks boilers at a Frederick, Maryland facility. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable water chemistry while coordinating with site staff.

The role requires 5+ years of boiler experience, Maryland license eligibility, and the ability to respond to emergencies, including odd hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years boiler operating experience or equivalent.
• Grade 1 Maryland Stationary Engineer license or ability to obtain.
• Possession or eligibility for a Federal Security Clearance.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and report unsafe areas.
• Operate designated plants per company policies and safety rules.
• Liaise with customers on site and manage relationships on assigned plants.
• Monitor plant operations through controls and technologies.
• Be on-call for emergencies and odd hours as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safe water/chemistry procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work orders.
• Apply Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and document thoroughly.
• Participate in safety training and on-site operational policy adherence.
