Constellation Energy is seeking a Stationary Engineer for our plant facility in Frederick, Maryland. The role involves operating and maintaining eight Cleaver Brooks boilers and related equipment, ensuring safe, efficient plant performance and compliance with safety policies.

The candidate will monitor operations, respond to emergencies, manage water chemistry, and perform preventive maintenance while coordinating with on-site personnel and customers.

Formación

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years boiler operating experience or equivalent.
• Grade 1 Maryland Stationary Engineer license or ability to obtain.
• Federal Security Clearance (HSPD-12) or eligibility.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude up to 480 volts.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Problem solving, data analysis and root-cause identification.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal skills and communication.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Available for on-call and emergency response.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safe working conditions; enforce safety compliance.
• Operate plants as Stationary Engineer per policies.
• Represent Constellation onsite and manage customer relationships.
• Monitor plant operations via control systems.
• Be on-call for emergency situations and odd hours.
• Adhere to regulatory obligations; ensure water quality and chemistry.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on boiler equipment.
• Create and manage work orders; document maintenance outcomes.
• Implement LOTO procedures and documentation.
• Participate in required safety and operating trainings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of fire-tube boiler operations and gas combustion hazards.
