Job summary

Constellation New Energy is seeking a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain eight Cleaver Brooks boilers at a customer facility in Frederick, Maryland. You will monitor performance, ensure safety, and uphold regulatory compliance while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires a Maryland Grade 1 Stationary Engineer license (or ability to obtain) and 5 years of boiler operating experience, plus proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 5-years of boiler operating experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Grade 1 Maryland Stationary Engineer license or ability to obtain one in a specified time frame.
• Possession of a Federal Security Clearance (HSPD-12 minimum) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, including working with switching up to 480 volts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor eight Cleaver Brooks 400 & 500 HP boilers and related equipment at the customer facility in Frederick, MD.
• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce safety compliance.
• Act as the on-site Constellation representative and maintain customer relationships.
• Monitor plant operations via controls systems and technologies.
• Be on-call and respond to emergency situations; work odd hours, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safe, continuous energy supply.
• Manage water quality and plant chemistry; perform preventive/predictive maintenance and minor repairs.
