Stella-Jones is seeking a Boiler Operator 2 at our Jasper, TX facility to maintain temperatures, monitor gauges, and manage boiler feed stock levels. You will drill sample cores for moisture content and keep a clean, safety-conscious work area in a plant designated as essential infrastructure.

The role supports operations with on-site equipment, requiring basic reading/writing and a proactive safety mindset. Training for the Operator 1 level is provided as part of the role.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months related experience or training.
• No license or certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains temperatures.
• Observes and notates meters/gauges.
• Dry wood to required specification.
• Drill sample cores from charges for moisture content.
• Operate mobile equipment to maintain boiler feed stock levels.
• Maintain clean working area.
• Participate in the company safety program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Boiler Operator 2 will be trained for Boiler Operator 1.

• Maintain clean working area
• Participates and contributes to company safety program
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Boiler Operator 2 will be trained for the qualifications and proficiency of a Boiler Operator 1

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: Three to six months related experience and/or training
• License/Certification: N/A
