The Maintenance 2 role focuses on inspecting, servicing, repairing, and fabricating plant equipment, while managing parts inventory and adhering to the company’s preventative maintenance program. It also emphasizes safety and potential progression to Maintenance 1.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, services, repairs and constructs plant processing equipment across the facility.
• Utilizes welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair and fabricate equipment.
• Manages inventory of serviceable parts for maintenance activities.
• Performs the Preventative Maintenance Program as directed.
• Documents and reports maintenance work and notes future requirements.
• Participates in and contributes to the company safety program.

Maintenance 2 maintain property, plant and equipment in a productive, efficient and safe manner by performing the following duties:

Principal Responsibilities

• Inspects, services, repairs and constructs plant processing equipment, including structures, utilities, loaders, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and pressure vessel work throughout the plant.
• Utilizes welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair and fabricate processing equipment.
• Manages inventory of serviceable parts required to maintain equipment.
• Performs the Preventative Maintenance Program established by the Company
• Documents and reports maintenance work performed and advises of future requirements in a timely manner.
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

A Maintenance 2 gains knowledge and experience required for promotion to Maintenance 1 under direction of experienced Maintenance 1 by performing the above duties.
