Job summary

Paycom - ATS at Fort Gordon, GA seeks a Stationary Engineer to start up, regulate, repair, and shut down equipment. You will monitor meters, gauges, and computerized controls to keep systems operating safely within limits.

The role requires handling heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, performing routine maintenance, and replacing defective parts as needed while maintaining logs for safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proficient written and oral communication.
• Strong computer skills and ability to read technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Activate valves to regulate water, air, and fuel for boilers.
• Monitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels; adjust as needed.
• Read gauges, meters, and charts to ensure proper boiler operation.
• Test boiler water quality and arrange testing; add chemicals as needed.
• Analyze problems to maintain continuous, reliable equipment operation.
• Operate boilers, stationary engines, pumps, and associated equipment for heat and steam.
