Job summary

King & George, LLC is seeking a Stationary Engineer for a full-time on-site role at Ft. Gordon, GA 30905. You will start up, regulate, repair, and shut down boiler systems, monitoring controls and auxiliary equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, 3+ years of stationary engineering experience, a Class 4 Stationary Engineer License, and CFC certification. Rotating shifts (12/8 hour) and a physical ability to perform duties are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ stationary engineer experience.
• Class 4 Stationary Engineer License.
• CFC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Activate valves to maintain boiler water levels and control fuel flow to burners.
• Monitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels and adjust as needed.
• Observe gauges, meters, and charts to ensure proper boiler operation.
• Test boiler water quality and take corrective action to prevent corrosion or deposits.
• Analyze problems and ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment and systems.
• Operate boilers, engines, and auxiliary equipment to supply steam or heat for buildings or vessels.
• Record data and maintain logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activity.
