Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare facility experience preferred.
• Must hold journeyman license and applicable state certifications.
• Knowledge of industrial HVAC, gas-fired boilers, and control devices.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and operate gauges and recording devices.

Responsibilities

• Read meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.
• Record data on temperature, hours of operation, fuel, and water conditions.
• Adjust controls and switch to backup equipment as needed.
• Visually inspect equipment and perform maintenance tasks.
• Log maintenance actions in shift logbook and prepare reports.
• Respond to emergency after-hours service calls and overtime as required.
