Job summary

JLL is seeking a facilities maintenance professional for a hybrid role in the Utilities department. You will operate, maintain, and repair boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and water treatment systems, with relief coverage for control room operations to ensure 24/7 facility reliability.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance on boilers and chillers, building automation operation, safety compliance, and documentation of all activities using the work order system.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of trades schooling in high pressure boiler and industrial refrigeration/HVAC operation theory.
• 2+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering maintenance or equivalent education.
• Class 1 Stationary Engineers License.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, pumps, and cooling tower components.
• Operate and maintain high-pressure steam and hot water boilers in compliance with regulations.
• Troubleshoot system issues and determine whether repairs require internal resources or outside services.
• Monitor and operate control room systems for 24/7 alarm response and actions.
• Document all maintenance activities in work order software to keep equipment records.
