Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Back of House Opening Shift Leader to guide all back-of-house operations during the opening shift, coordinating with the Front of House to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, leadership, or shift management experience required.
• Restaurant or quick-service leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to food safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Back of House operations during opening and breakfast/lunch service.
• Assess business needs throughout the shift and assign team members to positions that best support operational success.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members through real-time feedback and accountability.
• Partner with Front of House Shift Leader to communicate priorities and staffing adjustments.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality, cleanliness, and procedures.
• Balance food quality, speed of service, and team care when making decisions.
