Job summary

Chick-fil-A Gateway Center is hiring a Back of House Shift Lead to supervise daily BOH operations in a fast-paced setting. You will lead kitchen staff, ensure food quality, safety, and timely service, and partner with leaders to meet restaurant goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, task delegation, and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen while upholding Chick-fil-A standards and culture. This is a full-time, on-site position at a high-volume location.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as shift lead, supervisor, or team lead preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily BOH operations in a high-volume restaurant.
• Model teamwork and set a positive tone for the kitchen.
• Coach and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage kitchen station assignments and prep tasks.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly kitchen at all times.
• Coordinate with non-kitchen leaders toward restaurant goals.
• Assist in training of new hires.
