Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Back of House Shift Leader to help lead our kitchen team with integrity, energy, and excellence. This role oversees kitchen operations during shifts, ensures food safety, accuracy, and speed, and mentors team members to foster growth.

The BOH Shift Leader will manage opening/closing, coordinate kitchen flow, ensure proper portions and presentation, and uphold Chick-fil-A standards in a fast-paced environment. Must be dependable and team-focused.

Qualifications

• Experience operating in a commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead BOH operations during shifts to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Maintain proper food presentation, portioning, and temperature standards.
• Coordinate kitchen flow to meet speed of service and throughput goals.
• Ensure accurate and timely food prep for front counter and drive-thru.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures to prep for the next shift.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to leadership.
