Job Summary:

We are seeking a Body Shop Service Technician to join Kelly Volkswagen Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service technician roles and hold ASE certification. Responsibilities include performing repairs on specific orders and diagnosing necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional services and provide repair time estimates
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
• Qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair (B level)
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service and computer skills
• Positive attitude and eagerness to improve
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively
• Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
