Pat Milliken Ford, Inc. is seeking an assistant manager for our new collision center in southeast Michigan. Join a family-owned team with an award-winning record and a strong customer-satisfaction heritage.

This hands-on leadership role oversees clerks, technicians and vendors while maintaining profitability and compliance in a fast-paced shop. You will manage workflows, scheduling, inventory, and oversee quality repairs to ensure top service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• At least 5 years of body shop management and automotive customer service experience.
• A hard-working can-do attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills.

Responsabilités

• Help manage Body Shop Clerk & Technician staff, scheduling, payroll, inventory & tool needs
• Ensure Technician's workflows are going smoothly and customer needs are prioritized
• Managing technician productivity
• Document all repairs & orders properly
• Oversee vehicle washing, waxing, revitalizing processes
• Interacting with external vendors on parts inventory
• Required to maintain the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Required to understand and keep abreast of all federal, state and local regulations that affect their operations.
• Effective vehicle production and inventory control
• This is a hands-on, working position
