Job summary

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking a skilled Body Shop Assistant Manager to join our expanding collision center team in a fast-paced, customer-service driven environment. You will help manage daily operations, coordinate with insurers and fleet providers, and ensure accurate damage estimates and reports.

Key responsibilities include supervising workflow, supporting staff, and partnering with the General Manager on dispatches using computerized systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Collision Center or Auto Body Shop.
• Prior collision center estimating or insurance adjusting experience is required.
• Strong understanding of the collision repair process.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with professionalism and courtesy.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, fleet providers, and manufacturers.
• Perform vehicle damage assessments and create detailed repair cost estimates.
• Prepare accurate damage reports efficiently.
• Assist in managing shop production costs and workflow.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on daily tasks and dispatches using computerized systems.
• Provide support and assistance to employees as needed.
