Job summary

CarGuys Inc. is seeking a hands-on Body Shop Manager to lead a busy service department in Somerset. You will oversee technicians, manage workflow, ensure safety, and drive repair quality.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, monitoring performance, budgeting, and maintaining high customer satisfaction while meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate has proven leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a body shop Manager.
• Must have high energy, positive attitude, and ability to multi-task.
• Must have excellent communication, organization and follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
• Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
• Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
