Job summary

CarGuys Inc. in Michigan seeks an experienced Body Shop Manager to lead a busy shop and ensure high-quality repairs.

You will hire, train and supervise staff, manage the annual department budget, monitor repair progress and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
• Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures.
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks; conducts spot checks for quality.
• Handles customer complaints immediately according to dealership guidelines.
