Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next I-Car Certified Body Shop Estimator located at Wayzata Collision Center. The estimator is responsible for estimating and calculating the cost to repair a vehicle, to replace vehicle parts, or the entire vehicle.

We offer competitive pay between $65,000-$95,000 per year, plus Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401k, accrued vacation time, discounts on products, services and vehicles, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately estimate vehicle damage.
• Experience with CCC and CDK estimating platforms.
• Experience in estimating/body shop/automotive field.
• Knowledge of Direct Repair guidelines.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Write Estimates & Supplements: Review vehicle damage and write quality estimates using CCC One estimating system; create a repair plan with the triage team.
• Customer Service: Update guests on repair progress and changes.
• Parts Ordering: Work with Parts Manager to locate necessary parts.
• Quality Check: Ensure final work meets collision repair standards.
• File Reconciliation: Keep all documents up-to-date and properly signed.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next I-Car Certified Body Shop Estimator located at Wayzata Collision Center, the I-Car Certified Body Shop Estimator is responsible for estimating and calculating the cost to repair a vehicle, to replace vehicle parts, or the entire vehicle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write Estimates & Supplements: Review vehicle damage and write quality estimates using CCC One estimating system. Upon teardown, work with triage team and senior technician to write a supplement based on discoveries. Create a repair plan for the technician and pull any TIS/repair documents needed for repair. (Any weld on panels MUST have TIS documentation). All supplements are to be submitted within 24 hours. Work with insurance companies to manage claim and negotiate pricing if needed.
• Customer Service: Update all guests on a regular basis. All guests need to know of any changes with their repair throughout the process.
• Parts Ordering: Work with Parts Manager to order/locate all parts needed for repair.
• Quality Check: Review all finalized work to ensure all work performed meets or exceeds the standards of The Wayzata Auto Center Collision Repair.
• File Reconciliation: Review your file to make sure all documents are up-to-date, all signatures are captured and proper documentation is in file.

• Properly follow insurance company Direct Repair guidelines
• Experience with CCC and CDK estimating platforms
• Experience in the estimating/body shop/automotive field
• Valid Driver’s License
