The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an I-Car Certified Body Shop Estimator at Wayzata Collision Center. The estimator will assess vehicle damage, write detailed estimates, and coordinate with the triage team and insurers to develop a repair plan. This role requires CCC One and CDK experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately estimate vehicle damage.
• Ability to use our automated system to order parts.
• Properly follow insurance Direct Repair guidelines.
• Experience with CCC and CDK estimating platforms.
• Experience in estimating/body shop/automotive field.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Write Estimates & Supplements: review damage and write quality estimates using CCC One; after teardown work with triage team to write a supplement; create a repair plan and pull required repair docs; supplements submitted within 24 hours; liaise with insurance companies to manage claims.
• Customer Service: regularly update guests on repairs and changes.
• Parts Ordering: collaborate with Parts Manager to locate and order needed parts.
• Quality Check: ensure all work meets standards of Wayzata Auto Center Collision Repair.
• File Reconciliation: ensure all documents and signatures are in file and up-to-date.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next I-Car Certified Body Shop Estimator located at Wayzata Collision Center, the I-Car Certified Body Shop Estimator is responsible for estimating and calculating the cost to repair a vehicle, to replace vehicle parts, or the entire vehicle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write Estimates & Supplements: Review vehicle damage and write quality estimates using CCC One estimating system. Upon teardown, work with triage team and senior technician to write a supplement based on discoveries. Create a repair plan for the technician and pull any TIS/repair documents needed for repair. (Any weld on panels MUST have TIS documentation). All supplements are to be submitted within 24 hours. Work with insurance companies to manage claim and negotiate pricing if needed.
• Customer Service: Update all guests on a regular basis. All guests need to know of any changes with their repair throughout the process.
• Parts Ordering: Work with Parts Manager to order/locate all parts needed for repair.
• Quality Check: Review all finalized work to ensure all work performed meets or exceeds the standards of The Wayzata Auto Center Collision Repair.
• File Reconciliation: Review your file to make sure all documents are up-to-date, all signatures are captured and proper documentation is in file.
