Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group seeks an experienced Body Shop Technician at Napleton's Lexus Certified Collision Center. The role performs vehicle repairs per dealer and factory standards, ensuring timely completion and quality workmanship to delight customers.

You’ll bring I-CAR Gold Certified status, prior body shop experience, and proficiency with shop tools. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, accrued vacation, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• I-CAR Gold Certified is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role.
• Specialized training in repair/refinish of trucks and trailers preferred.
• Proficiency with repair tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and general appearance reconditioning of equipment for trade-ins and prepare new equipment for delivery.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order.
• Maintain work area appearance and safety.
• Road test vehicles when necessary.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next I-CAR Body Shop Technician located at Napleton's Lexus Certified Collision Center. The Body Shop Technician performs vehicle repairs as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The Body Shop Technician ensures repairs are completed on time and delivers top-notch work to delight our customers.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, materials, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of repair equipment and tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Solid problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Job Requirements:

• I-Car Gold Certified
• Body Shop Technician experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Specialized training and experience in the repair/refinish of all series of truck and trailer preferred
• Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools) required
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
