Lithia & Driveway in Bend, OR seeks an experienced Estimator to join our service team. This role offers base pay plus commissions, with estimated annual earnings between $66,000 and $90,000. You’ll write repair orders, prepare estimates, and coordinate with technicians for transparent pricing.

We require open availability to support dealership operations, with evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong communication and math skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ year estimator experience required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Typing and basic computer skills to enter repair orders.
• Mathematical ability to calculate service costs and changes.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls professionally.
• Greet customers and identify, confirm, and resolve concerns.
• Communicate repairs, costs, and timelines to customers.
• Write repair orders using ProfitNet and ADP systems.
• Prepare estimates using CCCMitchellAudatex and related tools.
• Maintain production notes and order details.
• Dispatch orders to technicians per policy and cost controls.
• Follow up with customers during repairs and at delivery.

Hiring: Estimator!

• Pay: Base salary + Commission; Estimated annual earnings $66,000 - $90,000
• Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, which could include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Answer incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Calls standards (ITC).
• Follow the Initial Customer Contact (ICC) process:
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Identify, confirm, and offer resolution to customer concerns.
• Communicate with customer what needs to be done, how much it will cost and when work will be complete.
• Assess customer needs by conducting a vehicle walk around.
• Attain agreement from customer for repair needs.
• Write accurate repair orders using ProfitNet and ADP systems.
• Write accurate Estimates utilizing the three major estimating systems:CCCMitchellAudatex
• Maintain and update production, notes, and repair order detail and production status.
• Follow the Interim Customer Contact (ICC2) process:Provide estimates that are accurate and support upfront pricing guarantee.Obtain approval to review findings of multi-point inspection and associated prices.Obtain approval to proceed with supplemental repairs.
• Dispatch repair orders to technicians following department dispatch policy and utilizing cost control methods.
• Communicate with technicians to gain clear understanding of repairs required and/or performed.
• Follow-up with customer during repair of the vehicle so they are aware of status.
• Follow the Customer Delivery (CD) process:Receive and process cash or credit payment for all services performed.Upon completion of repair, promptly and professionally deliver vehicle to customer.
• Follow up and collect payments for supplements on the accounts receivable.

What You’ll Bring

• Mathematic ability to calculate service costs and count change.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence
