Job summary

Lithia Chevrolet of Redding is seeking automotive technicians to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics at our dealership in California. The role involves brake, suspension, and fluid services, PDIs, and precise documentation of work performed.

You will work with service advisors and fellow technicians in a fast-paced environment that values safety and efficiency. We welcome ASE-certified technicians or those pursuing certification, with a focus on detail and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented with strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair services.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete brake, suspension, and fluid services.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs).
• Document repairs and services performed accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Pay

$30.00 - $38.00 per flat rate hourly

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm, Saturday 7:30am - 5pm, closed on Sundays. Requires Flexible Availability

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repair services
• Conduct multi-point inspections and diagnostics
• Complete brake, suspension, and fluid services
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
• Accurately document repairs and services performed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow repair procedures and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and technicians
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results

What You'll Bring

• 1 - 5 experienced automotive technicians passionate about delivering quality work
• ASE Certifications
• Detail-oriented with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Team player with communication and customer service skills
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes … Bonuses based on: Production Productivity The Flat Rate Range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00 Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
