Zusammenfassung

West Marine is seeking a dedicated Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience for boaters. You will understand customer needs, recommend products, and help with transactions while keeping displays neat and organized.

You’ll engage with customers, learn our products, and support store operations including inventory, pricing, and BOPIS/BOSS processes. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen actively and respond to customer needs.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with merchandise.
• POS systems; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management.

Aufgaben

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
• Engage with customers to understand needs using open-ended questions.
• Provide product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Assist customers in selecting products and direct them to the right aisle.
• Inform customers about services and assist with special orders or drop ship purchases.
• Handle cash, credit, returns, and manage the register accurately.
• Maintain pricing accuracy with tagging and displays.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking.
