Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworkingBoat Porterto join our team. As a Boat Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our marina by handling, transporting, and maintaining boats with care and precision. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a passion for the boating industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Boat Handling:Safely transport and launch boats in and out of the water using specialized equipment.
• Customer Assistance:Assist customers with boarding and disembarking boats, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
• Maintenance Support:Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of boats, ensuring they are presentable and ready for use.
• Dock Operations:Organize and maintain the dock area, including securing boats and assisting with storage transitions.
• Inspection:Conduct routine inspections of boats to identify and report any damages or maintenance needs.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with the service, rental, and sales teams to support daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a marina or boating environment is a plus but not required.
• Ability to operate equipment such as boat trailers and forklifts (training can be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor.
